Cintas is looking to hire an IT Intern for the Customer Channels team to support and manage applications used by Cintas customers for payments, service requests, and product purchases. The intern will contribute to the software development lifecycle, testing, documentation, project management, and application support.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, information systems, or other IT-related field .
- You have a passion for technology and web development, along with a basic comprehension of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Your skills encompass a talent for discovering inventive solutions, as well as a strong ability to appreciate design and user experience.
- Strong understanding of JIRA, Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in engineering, information systems, and related technical support.
- Basic understanding of requirements planning, project management and the application development process.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in the design, development, and upkeep of e-commerce websites, with a focus on user-friendliness and visual appeal.
- Assist in adding new features to improve user experience.
- Assist in updating and managing website content, ensuring it is accurate and aligns with our mission.
- Collaborate with the marketing and program teams to create engaging web pages that promote our initiatives and events.
- Help test website functionality, identify bugs, and assist in troubleshooting issues to improve performance.
- Learn and understand how critical business processes are automated via the Customer Channels applications.
- Work with and present to multiple levels of management your assignments and developed solutions.
