Corning's global Information Technology (IT) Function is looking to leverage AI/Machine Learning/Data Science for manufacturing use cases, specifically in failure detection, to improve business processes and maintain a competitive position.
Requirements
- Coding Language: python.
- AI/ML coding packages: numpy, pandas, Tensorflow, PyTorch
Responsibilities
- Engage in AI/Machine Learning/Data Science use cases applied to manufacturing.
- Apply AI technical concepts to practical problems.
- Learn production-grade standards in both AI and software development.
- Contribute to POC and current low-stake efforts in flight.
- Apply Large Language Models and Computer Vision models to failure detection use cases in manufacturing.
- Be exposed to internal Corning processes in the technical side, including data collection, data engineering, data cleaning, model development and deployment.
