Corning is looking to apply AI/Machine Learning/Data Science use cases to manufacturing to improve the competitive position of its businesses through IT enabled processes.
Requirements
- Coding Language: python
- AI/ML coding packages: numpy, pandas, Tensorflow, PyTorch
- BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Applied Math
Responsibilities
- Apply Large Language Models and Computer Vision models to failure detection use cases in manufacturing
- Data collection, data engineering, data cleaning, model development and deployment
- Apply AI technical concepts to practical problems
- Contribute to POC and current low-stake efforts in flight
- Learn production-grade standards in both AI and software development
- Exposure to internal Corning processes in the technical side
- Stakeholder communications (e.g., SMART interviews)
