Responsibilities
- As an IT Intern, you will be part of SpartanNash’s 12-week, paid Internship Program.
- Our Internship Program is designed to expose you to the grocery and distribution industry, immerse you in real-world problem-solving, and foster meaningful experiences with other interns.
- The internship is a full-time summer opportunity based in Byron Center, MI, from May 18, 2026, to August 7, 2026.
- While day-to-day responsibilities may vary based on the specific internship, our IT team elevates the customer and shopper experience by ensuring our systems operate efficiently and technology is integrated seamlessly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to support projects and achieve shared goals.
- Participate in a Capstone Project that applies internship learnings to a business challenge, showcasing research, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Engage in professional development opportunities that may include an executive speaker series, workshops, tours of SpartanNash headquarters, and a day immersed in our Retail environment.
Other
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, Security, or other related majors
- Be an active student through the summer
- Graduate December 2026 or later
- Be willing to attend mandatory, in-person events
