GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is looking for an IT Intern to assist with data classification projects, defining and implementing role-based access controls, drafting data protection policies, and preparing documentation for security audits and compliance assessments. This role aims to support the company's efforts in providing comprehensive data and reporting solutions for Private Market clients while offering hands-on experience to the intern.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Responsibilities
- Assist in data classification projects, helping to categorize and tag sensitive data.
- Support efforts to define and implement role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Contribute to drafting and organizing data protection policies and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for security audits and compliance assessments.
- Support vendor evaluation documentation related to cybersecurity compliance.
Other
- Must be a full-time matriculating student in Information Technology, Computer Science or related program.
- GPFS requires that applicants have taken at least the first two courses in accounting offered at their university to be considered for the internship.
- GPA requirements apply.
- The internship runs from June - August.
- Work Hours are 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Expecting 40 hours a week.
