Owens Corning Glass Reinforcements is undergoing an acquisition and needs to build its IT infrastructure and applications from the ground up, consolidating and simplifying its global data and analytics landscape to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on SAP experience, with a focus on large-scale deployments.
- Experience implementing SAP Business Data Cloud and its underlying technologies.
- Experience in modeling and governing enterprise data using SAP Datasphere, ensuring semantic consistency across SAP and third-party sources.
- Proficiency in integrating AI tools like Joule and SAP Analytics Cloud to transform harmonized data into actionable insights for real-time decision-making.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, data architecture, analytics and reporting with a proven track record of designing and managing complex data and analytics environments for large organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end deployment of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) across the global organization, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Provide technical leadership and business-value guidance to global project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance on the implementation and use of Microsoft analytical user tools that will be standard in the environment including PowerBI, and how these tools will interface and access enterprise data.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for data management, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across the organization.
- Develop and maintain the overall data architecture, including data models, standards, and integration frameworks to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
- Explore and apply artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, including generative AI and agentic AI, to drive productivity and gain a competitive advantage.
- Identify opportunities for AI integration in business processes and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and innovation.
