NextEra Energy is looking to digitally transform its Nuclear business unit by developing cutting-edge products involving UI/UX, API, and Integration Services.
Requirements
- Proficiency in building user interfaces using Angular JS
- Experience in developing APIs using Node, AWS Lambda, and APIGEE
- Knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries for databases like Postgres or Oracle
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Understanding of integration services and cloud architecture
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS to build scalable solutions

- Design, develop, and implement new applications and features
- Optimize and enhance existing applications' functionalities
- Develop user-centric designs and functional prototypes
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS to build scalable solutions
- Develop new applications, enhance existing functionalities, and build functional user interfaces based on comprehensive user and business requirements
- Contribute to the development of cutting-edge products involving UI/UX, API, and Integration Services

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in software product development

- Currently enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
- Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

- Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
- Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
