The IT Plant Systems Intern provides technical support to plant partners on computing equipment and peripherals, enabling partners to perform their functions more effectively, accurately, and efficiently.
Requirements
- Exposure to computer support of hardware preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support partners with hardware, phone, and IT-related issues.
- Diagnose, repair, install, and upgrade IT-supported software and hardware.
- Maintain communication with partners during issue resolution.
- Take ownership of partner requests and follow-up resolution.
- Assist with rollout of new processes, software, and/or hardware.
- Identify and address trends in support issues.
- Document, evaluate options, and make recommendations.
Other
- Pursuing Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (Sophomore or Junior status)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent customer service and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
