Bosch is expanding its semiconductor business with silicon carbide chips in the U.S. and plans to invest some $1.9 billion in the Roseville site in California in the coming years, and needs an IT intern to support the IT department at the Semiconductor plant
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in semiconductor manufacturing (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist in documenting and mapping existing IT processes against ITIL frameworks (e.g., Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfillment)
- Contribute to the development and refinement of process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Support the roll-out of new or updated ITIL processes
- Assist in the identification, definition, and establishment of relevant ITIL-related KPIs and metrics
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various IT systems (e.g., ITSM tool, monitoring tools) to track process performance
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends
- Contribute to the preparation of regular performance reports for IT leadership
