Requirements
- Ability to Explain the difference between AI and Machine Learning to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Architect
- Familiar with the SDLC
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Experience with work tracking tools, like Jira
- Familiar with PowerBI
- Knowledge of UWM’s software applications and how they are used to deliver value to UWM, our clients and borrowers
Responsibilities
- Working with one of our AI teams to define and maintain a product roadmap, adjusting as necessary to assure delivery of value.
- Work with internal IT teams to define, plan, deliver, and validate software solutions.
- Facilitate product brainstorming sessions with stakeholders and development team and define new product capabilities to achieve specific desired outcomes.
- Create, analyze and communicate Key Performance Indicators around the product during vision setting and post-launch.
- Review/Demos – provide feedback early and often to the team around project specific changes.
- Conduct market analysis on product strategy and vision.
- Define both the What and Why of the product direction and align business goals with the incremental delivery of software.

- Explaining data to C-Level and senior level stakeholders
- Leverage your extensive knowledge of UWM processes and technology to partner with business areas and clients to understand the needed outcome of product usage.
- Create channels and processes for feedback loops and represent the voice and perspective of the customer in everything we do.
- Engagement and knowledge of relevant business area(s) to be able to provide ideas, discuss minimum viable product (MVP), and prioritize features with stakeholders.
- Collaborate and communicate with other Product Managers and Product Owners on intersecting products.
- Experience working with C-Level or other senior leaders
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills while being proactive and able to take initiative while navigating unexpected challenges
- Ability to organize and mobilize large groups of team members
- Strong organizational skills and a sharp attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills throughout product vision and delivery
- A passion for collaboration and relationship-building, with both technical and non-technical team members
- Skill at engaging senior level stakeholders
- A bachelor’s degree that exemplifies communication and critical thinking, including but not limited to Informatics, Communication, English, or Data Analytics
- An inquisitive approach to products and processes and the drive to make a difference
- Mortgage knowledge / knowledge of UWM business processes
- Very strong knowledge of the process used to create software applications at UWM, from initial ideation to validation of outcomes post launch
