BAE Systems is looking to implement a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineering system for the Space & Mission Systems (SMS) sector and needs an experienced Program Manager to manage this multi-year complex program.
Requirements
- Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with data center infrastructure, including power distribution, floor layouts, backup systems, and cooling systems
- Knowledge of cloud computing, including migration of workloads to cloud providers
- PMP Certification and Agile Certification
- Hands-on implementation experience with data center transformation or modernization
- Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
Responsibilities
- Business case development
- Effective design and development of Portfolio, Program, Project (P3) execution strategies
- Cross boundary integration, dependency identification & tracking
- Effective leadership and program & project execution
- Develop solutions to complex problems which require use of ingenuity, innovation and robust design
- Management of requirements, priorities and alignment with organizational objectives & success criteria
- Work breakdown structure, effort estimation, resource loaded schedule management and execution to the strategy/plan, proactive risk identification and mitigation
Other
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 12 years of work experience in IT, data center operations, or a related field
- Enhanced servant leadership skills and customer-centric approach
- Strong stakeholder management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Prefer someone located in the Denver area, or willing to travel >30% to Denver
- Ability to drive technology adoption within BAE Systems business sectors
