GDIT is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the quality and reliability of the New York State Department of Health Medicaid Management Information System by hiring an IT Quality Analyst (Regression Tester) to support the eMedNY Production Regression Team.
Requirements
- 837 (I, P and D) Medical Claims testing experience
- Knowledge of X12
- Experience writing SQL Queries and understanding DB2 table relationships
- Experience with healthcare claims of all types; including 837 (I, D and P) transactions
- Knowledge of New York State Medicaid procedures
- Knowledge of HIPPA X12 Version 5010 is preferred
- Experience with GitLab for version control
Responsibilities
- Review System Integration Testing folders and plans to determine the possibility of adding test cases to the Quality Assurance Regression (QAR) baseline
- Add claim 837 (I, D and P) test cases to QAR Regression baseline and become familiar with operational aspects of the QAR Regression Test lab
- Run and monitor test cases when appropriate
- Run appropriate DB2 SQLs to get new data for test cases as required
- Review Daily Regression runs and re-baseline failures due to data aging or valid code changes
- Review weekly cycle results and analyze and compare results from previous week cycle execution
- Add and adjust changes to specifications which includes system parameters and systems lists
Other
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance or Information Technology experience and 2+ years of experience with Medicaid/Healthcare claim transactions
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
- US Citizenship is not required
