Westgate Resorts is looking to solve the problem of ensuring the quality of their software applications and integrations, and is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Intern to support the QA Team in this effort.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Test Management tools such as TestRail, Qase, qTest, PractiTest, Zephyr, etc.
- Knowledge of defect tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Monday, Mantis
- Knowledge of RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, etc.
- Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or Tableau is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Review business / software requirements and provide input as needed
- Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data as needed
- Build project documentation for QA
- Execute manual test cases and be involved in exploratory testing
- Report defects and assist in their understanding
- Identify overall quality issues that could affect the applications under test
- Create end of sprint presentations or demos
Other
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas in a group setting
- Must live within commutable distance to Ocoee, FL
- Non students will not be considered for this position
