Daiichi Sankyo is seeking an IT Risk & Security Governance Intern to support multiple projects in IT Risk & Security Governance, gaining experience in reviewing alerts, analyzing data for malicious activity, and preparing cybersecurity awareness materials.
Requirements
- coursework or have a strong background in the fields of Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems (or related fields)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required
Responsibilities
- Review alerts to determine impact to systems and employees and perform response tasks
- Perform analysis of a variety of data sets to investigate potentially malicious activity
- Review threat material to determine impact and actions
- Work closely with IT staff to work active incidents through to closure
- Review daily reports of phishing emails/locked accounts/potentially malicious activity
- Prepare cybersecurity awareness presentation material monthly

- Junior or Senior undergraduate program
- Prior experience in a corporate business environment is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- time management skills are essential
- part-time position works for approximately 20 hours per week
