The internship aims to leverage fresh talent to analyze networks, develop security tools, and respond to security incidents, thereby strengthening the bank's defenses and ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
- Analyze computer networks for security purposes using a variety of network analysis and security monitoring tools.
- Develop and evaluates security tools.
- Respond to and implements security/incident/firewall requests; develops awareness of well-known ports and associated vulnerabilities; analyzes log and network data collections; and develops an awareness of vendor security resources (patches).
- Monitor security logs and generates reports.
- Maintain network vulnerability and application scanning products.
- Maintain intrusion-prevention systems and other security-related products.
- Assist staff with resolution to certain technical problems.
Other
- Educate users on security issues.
- Communicate with users, vendors, and other IT personnel on security-related issues.
- Confer with other personnel in resolving problems involving procedural and technical matters.
- Research problems and recommend solutions.
