To support a B2B and B2C business model by developing and maintaining software for an IBM iSeries enterprise environment
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IBM iSeries environment, including RPG, CL, DDS, and DB2
- A 4-year Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- Strong understanding of software version control, document version control and test database protocols
Responsibilities
- Use iSeries programming languages RPG, CL, DDS, and DB2
- Implement computer system upgrades
- Design, create, test, and implement computer programs
- Write documentation for computer programming
- Monitor and maintain an iSeries environment
- Revise or correct errors in computer software or systems
- Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs
Other
- A minimum of 5 years experience in programming for a warehouse/distribution environment STRONGLY PREFERRED
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work independently and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operations and workload of the Programming team
- Ability to compose or create product and training/SOP documentation
- A 4-year Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering REQUIRED
