Eversource is looking to solve business and technical problems by designing and implementing new systems and features, as well as modifying and maintaining existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes.
Requirements
- Front-end Scripting Language such as JavaScript and TypeScript
- Component-based Front-end Library such as React and Next.JS
- JavaScript or Typescript testing framework like Jest or Vitest
- Back-end Programming language, C-Sharp / .NET preferred
- C-Sharp / .NET testing framework, XUnit preferred
- Experience developing and querying SOAP and REST APIs
- Experience developing applications and solutions with a security-first mindset
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems
- Drive the software change and release management processes
- Ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time
- Contributes to the development of goals of the discipline and planning efforts
- Provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement business strategies
- Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area
- Contributes to software development processes

- Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
