Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Software Asset Manager to lead the day to day administration of their global software portfolio, including budgeting, quoting/requisitioning, contract and license/subscription management, and partnering with the IT End Point Team for deployments.
Requirements
- 7+ Years Experience with Software Asset Management
- 4+ Years Experience with Microsoft Licensing and Portal Administration
- 5+ years of Vendor Management experience
- Basic understanding of IT Infrastructure in a Corporate Environment
- ServiceNow Incident, Contract and Asset Module experience
- PC proficiency to include MS Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Lead the lifecycle management of software licenses and subscriptions through quoting, PO processing and invoice reconciliation
- Partner with Procurement team to execute software contract negotiations (Renewals and New Acquisitions)
- Maintain the IT budget with forecasting, actuals and charge backs with respect to all software line items
- Identify savings opportunities for maintenance & software licensing
- Partner with IT Asset Manager to correctly reflect the complete lifecycle of all IT software contracts/licenses/subscriptions in the system of record
- Lead the Software Standardization process of vetting new software titles requested for use by company employees
- Oversee the End User request process for installing approved software packages onto company endpoint devices
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree, plus 7 years of experience OR 11 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
- Up to 10% travel required
