Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced IT Staff Engineer - Software Developer to support application development, which involves the process, life cycle, creation, maintenance, configuration, documentation, and testing of the enterprise software that drives business processes. Developers work closely with analysts, engineers, and system users as needed to deliver well documented and tested solutions to the business. The position also requires integration with other platforms and teaming within the IT and BU organizations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in development
- Minimum of 3 years of ServiceNow platform development (JavaScript)
- A minimum of 10+ years of experience (designing, developing) complex solutions
- Prior hands-on experience with Design Patterns, Application blocks, XML, and Reporting
- Experience in designing and implementing projects

- The role will report to a Segra office, with the preferred locations being Charlotte, NC; Roanoke, VA; Dallas, TX; Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO; and St. Louis, MO.
- Other posted locations will be considered, but these are the top priority.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical writing and documentation
- Experience with Agile methodology (SCRUM or something similar)
- Desire to take ownership of projects
- Ability to troubleshoot complicated problems
- Must be flexible to adjust work schedule to support shifts of various lengths and start/stop times based on workload
