The company is seeking an individual to administer and maintain its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application systems, aiming to improve user experience and process efficiencies by reviewing business process needs and application functionality.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Skill in ITIL, ITSM, Application Lifecycle Management, C-Sharp, IIS, MS SQL Server, and application testing.
- Prefer experience supporting Lawson (Infor) ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application systems.
- Testing, scheduling, deployment, and support of application patches and upgrades.
- Works with business stakeholders and users to identify new application requirements and source applications to meet them.
- Works with businesses to identify reporting requirements and integrate them.
- Provides vendor management and support escalations and follows through on problem resolution.
- Maintains applications based on vendor direction and business needs (patch application, major upgrades including staging, pre-testing, and deployment)
- Works as a liaison with 3rd party application support teams for issue creation, management, escalation, and completion.
Other
- TEMPORARY position funded only through the project’s completion date of September 30, 2026.
- After the project concludes, employment with the city will cease unless the individual applies for and is selected for a different, funded, and budgeted city position.
- No specific position will be created for project employees to continue their employment after the project ends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or the equivalent in experience.
- A valid Driver's License is required.
- Must pass a drug test and background check. CJIS background check and certification are required for this position.
