Lakeshore College needs to provide instruction for an IT Web and Software Developer program curriculum to students through a variety of delivery formats, educating them on designing, building, and managing websites and software applications.
Requirements
- Be familiar with basic hardware; use a laptop, printer, and scanning techniques equipment.
- Securely access college network systems using appropriate multi-factor authentication, navigate through Windows; and appropriate navigation through the internet.
- Use voicemail, email, and calendaring programs.
- Understand databases and SQL for data management and integration
- Use video conferencing.
- Use Blackboard and associated tools.
- Understanding of front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6, and TypeScript preferred.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students on designing, building, and managing websites and software applications including writing or adapting code.
- Develop user interfaces using cutting edge technologies and implement security and data protection applications.
- Educate students with core knowledge and current developments in the discipline.
- Provide course improvement with updated teaching methods.
- Developing curriculum, including learning activities and assessments.
- Work with a curriculum coach to ensure state and LC design requirements are met.
- Teaching/training in business and industry may be assigned.
Other
- Provide instruction for an IT Web and Software Developer program curriculum to students through a variety of delivery formats (e.g.: online, face to face, virtual computer conference) at Lakeshore College.
- Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in various delivery formats, schedules, and in various places in accordance with the mission of the college.
- Developing and maintaining current/relevant course materials, and communicating with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members.
- Work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction.
