TriVector Services, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates to fill their ITI Program-Level-Software Systems Engineer position to support the IFMC AMD Mission Command Product Office, a government program office addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have at least 7 years of system engineering experience.
  • The candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas: THAAD system, IBCS system, tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, software, hardware, requirements decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages.
  • The system engineer must be highly organized with a strong technical background in system engineering principles.
  • System engineering experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program.
  • Hands on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF are desired.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience are plus.

Responsibilities

  • Developing system level features with focus on THAAD integration with the Army Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) in describing MEI and CSCI behavior, performance, and acceptance criteria necessary to provide guidance for software implementation.
  • Leading reviews and adjudicating comments made against the features.
  • Using an MBSE approach to document the features using an Agile workflow.

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain is required.
  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's of science in STEM.
  • Candidate needs to have a record of taking initiative and being a team player in a small team environment.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working as a team member in an Agile environment and be willing to engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure that software is capable of meeting the needs of the intended users.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate.
