Requirements
- Programming skills in languages such as C++, Java, or Python
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other design tools
- Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and platforms
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
Responsibilities
- Make vital contributions to the Robotics, Handheld Instruments, or Digital Products pipelines and transform patient care through innovation
- Work with NPD teams to design and develop product software for use in cutting edge medical devices and associated capital equipment
- Design and develop product software for use in medical devices and capital equipment
- Contribute to the development of software for medical devices and associated capital equipment
- Work on the development of software for use in medical devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions
- Develop software for medical devices and equipment
Other
- Must be a student pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Availability for multiple rotations is desired
- Must be able to work full-time during the co-op term
- Must be able to secure own transportation to and from work
- Must be eligible to receive a one-time taxable stipend to support the cost of living during the co-op term
