Designing, building, and integrating micro services in a distributed system for Healthcare domain
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of IT software development experience with a background in Java, J2EE and Front End technologies with full stack development
- Strong experience as a WebServices Developer with exposure to JAVA with Microservices and middleware technologies especially IBM middleware technologies and tools
- 5+ years WebServices (SOAP, REST)/JAVA development experience (J2EE/SOA)
- 5+ years Web services on SOA
- 5+ years Expertise in WSDL, SOAP, XML, REST, JSON and Web services for Java Platform, Enterprise Edition
- Experience or knowledgeable in IBM WMB, WAS and MQ
- Database Knowledge (Oracle)
- Experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, node.js, Big Data, Cloud Foundry, Angular JS, react/Flux (Preferred)
- Strong knowledge and experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Leading others and building applications in Java using modern architectures
- Webservices development
- Contributing to aspects of the software delivery lifecycle in requirements, design, prototype, development and troubleshooting of enterprise systems, middleware, and interfaces
- Technical development, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance experience to Java applications
- Operating on highly visible assignments, diving deep into designs, application code, and frameworks
- Providing clear insight and direction to business and IT stakeholders
- Tracking to a schedule, keeping a list of priorities and explaining status and recommendations to executives
Other
- Must have B.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- An advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is highly desired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills is a must
- Organized, able to track to a schedule, keep a list of priorities and able to explain status and recommendations to executives
- Must have experience with Oracle Point of Sale application
