GetInsured is transforming government IT infrastructures with its SaaS and AI technology, reinventing how states administer safety net programs. They are looking for a Java Developer to help them continue to provide leading technology for state-based marketplaces and assist states in transitioning off healthcare.gov and implementing exchanges.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong experience with the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
- Proficiency in SOAP web services and related protocols
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
- Implement/maintain web services using REST/SOAP protocols
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
