Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer to develop and maintain complex applications, provide technical direction, and collaborate with teams on integration technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Java development, with expertise in Java/J2EE and Oracle SQL.
  • Strong experience in web services, microservices, and integration technologies like Mule ESB or Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Agile development, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics for performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, and maintaining software applications that support business functions
  • Participating in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications using new technologies
  • Providing technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
  • Collaborating with external programmers and teams to coordinate software delivery
  • Ensuring high-quality code and performing unit testing using tools like JUnit and Cucumber
  • Integrating APIs and microservices using technologies like XML, JSON, and Kafka
  • Performance tuning, triaging, and monitoring applications using tools like Splunk and AppDynamics
