TRAX USA Corp is seeking a Java Web App Developer to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces. This role will support future React development and ensure TRAX applications remain best-of-breed/best-in-class in the industry.
Requirements
- Hands on experience in developing Java applications
- Strong, in-depth software development experience using Java
- Skills: Java, JakartaEE, J, JPA (Hibernate), PrimeFaces 13.x, Eclipse 4.x, Oracle 12c
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS, Data models, SQL
- Experience in writing SQL statements
- Experience with React, Html, CSS and javascript, strongly preferred.
- Develop software using JakartaEE design patterns with emphasis on reusability
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and maintains Java based components and interfaces.
- Independently design, develop, and implement solutions as per the use case descriptions and design specifications.
- Support future React development.
- Designs or writes program specifications based on consultations with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users.
- Converts designs and specifications into computer code.
- Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirms program meets specifications.
- Designs and codes layouts for onscreen user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
Other
- Consults with the supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers, and end users to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment, and interfaces with other systems.
- Review user and technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with program operations.
- Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.
