TRAX USA Corp is seeking a Java Web App Developer to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces to support the safe operation of tens of thousands of aircraft for hundreds of aircraft operators worldwide.
Requirements
- Hands on experience in developing Java applications
- Strong, in-depth software development experience using Java
- Skills: Java, JakartaEE, J, JPA (Hibernate), PrimeFaces 13.x, Eclipse 4.x, Oracle 12c
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS, Data models, SQL
- Experience in writing SQL statements
- Experience with React, Html, CSS and javascript, strongly preferred.
- Ability to estimate development effort and timely delivery of assigned work
Responsibilities
- Converts designs and specifications into computer code.
- Compiles code into programs and corrects errors detected in compile process.
- Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirms program meets specifications.
- Analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs.
- Designs and codes layouts for onscreen user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.
- Develop software using JakartaEE design patterns with emphasis on reusability
- Conduct peer code reviews, and perform unit testing
Other
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, preferred.
- Travel to customer sites as needed
- Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and creative
