Cognizant is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that drive innovation, improve performance, and support critical business needs in Property & Casualty Insurance.
Requirements
- Expertise in AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with AngularJS is a plus.
- Domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
- Proven success in delivering enterprise-level applications using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
- Experience modernizing applications with Spring Boot and AngularJS.
- Ability to optimize application performance and ensure scalability in complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, AngularJS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across systems.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and share knowledge with team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- 6 to 10 years of experience as a Java Developer.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work proactively in a hybrid environment.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with in-person presence several days a week in a client or Cognizant office located in Charlotte, NC.
