Capgemini is looking for hands-on development support skills on JAVA technologies, Angular JS, UI, HTML, CSS within the P&C Insurance domain to process development, production support, and batch support activities.
Requirements
- 8 Years of hands-on experience on JAVA technologies Angular JS 6 9UI HTML CSS
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 Spring Boot and J2EE
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS preferred
- Knowledge of legacy systems and modernization techniques
- Experience with RESTful APIs SQL, NoSQL databases
- Understanding of CICD tools and practices
Responsibilities
- Process development Production Support activities and Batch Support.
- Application Development maintenance and Support activities involved in distribution applications and JAVA development support projects
- Requirements Analysis Design Coding Reviews Unit testing
- Analyze existing legacy Java applications and identify modernization opportunities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Refactor and optimize legacy code for performance scalability and maintainability
- Integrate CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab or GitHub Actions
Other
- Work in Agile Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
- Document technical designs architecture decisions and modernization strategies
- Identifies continuous productivity improvement opportunities
- Participate in day-to-day issues regarding service delivery
- Maintain and provide status and performance reports
