Cognizant is looking to design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications with a strong emphasis on Java technologies to meet client needs.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java-based full-stack applications.
- Proven experience in AWS cloud-native application development.
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure provisioning technologies (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Experience with Git, unit testing frameworks, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with authentication protocols such as SAML and JWT.
- Experience with Kubernetes containers running on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust backend services and full-stack applications using Java and Python.
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Git and automation tools.
- Integrate secure authentication protocols including SAML and JWT.
Other
- This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Columbus, Ohio; Wilmington, Delaware; or Plano, Texas.
