NYC IT Inc. is looking to modernize key state systems, including Collections & Accounts Receivable, Taxpayer Accounting, and Real Property Tax Processing, by leading modernization efforts and guiding design, development, and integration activities across multiple teams.
Requirements
- 84+ months experience with J2EE technologies including JDBC, JSP and XML.
- 84 months experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern IDE’s, such as Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ.
- 84 months experience using J2EE frameworks such as Spring or struts and Application Servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere or WebLogic.
- 84 months experience writing SQL statements for relational databases.
- 84 months of experience in system analysis and design of multi-tiered transactional systems.
- 60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
- 60 months of experience in messaging technologies, such as MQ, JMS, Kafka.
Responsibilities
- Guiding the technical design for modernization of legacy systems.
- Coordinating the technical solutions among various technical support groups.
- Making changes in multiple systems in real time to enable changes requested by user group.
- Implementing technical solutions.
- Developing tax processing system components and maintaining existing processing systems.
- Supporting production tasks including analysis of issue, proposing and implementing solutions for defect resolution.
- Coordinating with development team on development activities and integration testing.
