The company is seeking students to gain practical experience in technical support, service desk platforms, project coordination, and enterprise business systems, specifically with Atlassian JIRA and related tools.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of project management tools and concepts (Agile/Scrum knowledge is a plus).
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.
  • Exposure to scripting (e.g. Python) or automation tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
  • Proficiency using computer programs like Java, SQL, R, and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively build rapport in a remote working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of Atlassian JIRA and related tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Support the configuration and customization of JIRA projects, workflows, screens, fields, and permissions.
  • Help create and manage dashboards, filters, and reports to meet team and stakeholder requirements.
  • Maintain user accounts, roles, and access permissions in accordance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business users to gather requirements and implement JIRA solutions.
  • Perform regular audits and clean-up of JIRA instances to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve JIRA-related issues reported by users.

Other

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Interest in healthcare information technology as a career path.
  • 1 year commitment preferred.
  • Ability to effectively build rapport in a remote working environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
