JMP is looking for a Computer Science summer intern to work on the Documentation Team to automate documentation jobs, program in PERL, Python, and/or JavaScript, and contribute to the overall quality of the documentation
Requirements
- Coding / scripting skill in any language, as well as a willingness to learn the basics of JMP Scripting Language (JSL)
- Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Curiosity and passion for science and technology
- Targeted majors: Computer Science, MIS, or Statistics
Responsibilities
- Automate documentation jobs that create documentation and publish it on the web
- Program in PERL, Python, and/or JavaScript
- Script XML-related cleanup tasks following the team’s migration to a new authoring system
- Work with the Documentation Team to contribute to the overall quality of the documentation

- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- You’re an undergraduate college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2026
