Ash & Harris Executive Search's client, a nationally respected trial law firm, is looking to solve the problem of needing a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support their high-stakes civil litigation cases in industries like automotive, consumer products, and medical devices.
Requirements
- Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience; defense-side experience is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with client billing practices and time entry
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
- Support attorneys throughout the discovery process, including depositions and subpoenas.
- Conduct detailed document review and maintain organized electronic case files.
- Prepare and manage exhibits and trial materials for proceedings.
- Analyze and summarize complex medical records and litigation data.
Other
- Travel as needed to attend trials and provide onsite support to legal teams
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. (for trial materials)
- Ability to travel nationwide for trial support
- Exceptional writing, organization, and communication skills
