The Navy needs a Contract Writing Solution that streamlines acquisition processes and enhances operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Appian development concepts, including SAIL, process modeling, data modeling, and integrations
- Experience with Appian forms, process models, interface design, rules & expressions, records, data types, and SQL queries
- Experience deploying applications in the Appian platform
- Experience with building Appian plug-ins leveraging APIs and Smart Services
- Deep knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies (i.e., Agile Scrum and DevSecOps)
- Proficient with Java/JEE, SQL, REST, APIs, and Web Services
- Experience in working with external integrations (i.e., Web service, ESB, HTTPS, SFTP, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing the Navy’s Contract Writing Solution
- Collaborating with stakeholders to evaluate and change the system architecture
- Utilizing expertise in Appian development to build scalable and robust applications
- Integrating with other systems and data sources as needed
- Conducting gap/comparative analysis based on customer requirements
- Conducting thorough testing of developed solutions
- Configuring complex solution applications, external system connections, process models, business rules, user interfaces, and management reports
Other
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Clearance
- A minimum of two (2) years of software development experience
- A minimum of one (1) years of Appian development experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to participate in meetings virtually using tools like Microsoft Teams
- Online availability during the core Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours, Monday through Friday
- Travel to government sites in Washington, D.C., and the Avum office in Agoura Hills, California may be required
