Peraton is seeking to hire a Junior Data Analyst to help shape the future of data-driven decision-making and support the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions across mission-critical projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), R, and SQL.
- Experience with visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Knowledge of ad-tech analytics and ML-driven audience insights.
- Prior internship or project experience in data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex datasets.
- Clean, preprocess, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Design interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Support development of Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) APIs for enhanced data accessibility.
- Contribute to narrative analytics and BotNet analysis for public sentiment and threat detection.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Other
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field. Or, HS and 4 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a final TS/SCI security clearance.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated excellent soft skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
