Merchants Insurance Group is looking for a Jr. Enterprise Applications Developer I to support and maintain existing applications and grow into developing new enterprise applications and integrations.
Requirements
Basic SQL knowledge required; willingness to learn ETL tools like SSIS.
Experience with .NET development (C-Sharp or VB.NET) preferred.
Experience with ImageRight systems preferred but not required.
Exposure to or interest in SharePoint development/administration.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Proficiency with PDF tools (Adobe, Foxit, or similar).
COBOL knowledge is a plus, or willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Assist with maintaining and enhancing ImageRight workflows using VB.NET/ .NET.
Support and assist with administering the ImageRight system, including user setup, permissions, and configuration.
Provide day-to-day support for application issues and user requests.
Support development and integration efforts in SharePoint and SQL Server/SSIS as career path growth.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Document workflows, configurations, and technical procedures.
Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

Hybrid work schedule. The Hybrid work schedule requires 8 full days per month in the office, with the option to work the remaining days at home or in the office.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business and technical teams.
Willingness to learn new technologies; training on ImageRight, SharePoint, and SSIS will be provided.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related fields.
