Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a complex program to provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for critical systems on a mission-critical program supporting the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) within Customs and Border Protection (CBP). PSPD supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP critical missions, specifically screening and processing travelers at the ports of entry (POEs) into the United States.
Requirements
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodology and working in a SecDevOps environment
- Experience working with containerized applications preferably utilizing Konvoy
- 3+ years’ experience developing cloud ready applications and/or experience migrating applications to the cloud.
- 2+ years of experience in one of the following: JAVA, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, Automated test tools such as Selenium.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in at least 2 of the following: React, Angular, Redux, HTML, CSS, JSX, bootstrap, ES6, Redux, JWT, JSON, Babel, Webpack, Axios, NPM, Node.
- Proficient in JAVA, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React and Angular and its core principles
Responsibilities
- architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems
- exercise your judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and other resource constraints
- participate in and/or direct major deliverable of projects through all aspects of the software development life cycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing

- BS/BA degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience related experience
- Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start

- This position REQUIRES the candidate to be in Ashburn, VA, twice a week
