The National Security Sector within Leidos is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program for DHS/CBP mission critical systems
Requirements
- Experience with Mobile Application Development, must have experience with both Android & iOS
- Requires experience in both Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development
- Requires experience in development of JAVA, Node JS applications
- Requires experience in both NoSQL and SQL database’s
- Experience with Google’s Flutter engine and Google’s Dart language and similar Android/iOS framework
- Proficiency and knowledge of at least 3 of the following: Postgres, Springboot, SQL, Kafka, MySQL, Struts, Hibernate, Java, JSF, Swing, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular/React
- Knowledge of software design patterns
Responsibilities
- architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems
- exercise judgment in determining and recommending the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines and other resource constraints
- participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing
- support application issues and application of preventative measures
- collaboratively work to develop, modernize, enhance, operate, and maintain services for DHS/CBP mission critical systems
- develop highly available, scalable, real-time systems
- apply preventative measures to support application issues
Other
- BS/BA degree and and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be in Ashburn, VA, 2 twice a week
