ALTEN Technology USA is looking for a Junior Robotics Tech to bridge hardware and software domains and develop deep knowledge of production robotics systems, combining mechanical troubleshooting expertise with software debugging capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong mechatronics background
- Basic-to-intermediate coding skills
- Basic knowledge of how Docker and docker-compose works
- Basic knowledge of bash
- System-level understanding
- Basic understanding of networking
- Release management experience
Responsibilities
- Know how to use git repository and install test SW and or restore the robot after use
- Will need to be able to sort through code to help with troubleshooting
- Will need to be comfortable with command line and Linux
- Keep up-to date with the latest stable releases from the SW team
- Maintain a strong understanding of System architecture
- Will need to troubleshoot robots and mechatronics systems when having physical problems
- Will need to preform Mechanical, Electronic, Motion control and Power systems maintenance
