Requirements

  • Foundational understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and core concepts: ceremonies, roles, artifacts, story points/estimation, WIP limits, and empirical process control.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Data-oriented mindset with comfort maintaining team metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup) and creating simple dashboards or reports.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I).
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or other SAFe certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile reporting and dashboarding in Jira, Confluence, or Power BI.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and facilitating day-to-day Agile ceremonies (daily scrums, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) under the guidance of a senior Scrum Master.
  • Champion Lean-Agile values and practices, encouraging adherence to Agile, SAFe, and DevOps principles appropriate for team maturity.
  • Maintain Agile tracking systems to provide transparency into Product and Sprint Backlogs, velocity trends, and burndown/burnup metrics; ensure work is accurately updated and aligned to sprint goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members including architects, software engineers, QA, and technical leads to support timely delivery of committed work.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and impediments; track mitigation actions and follow through to resolution with appropriate owners.
  • Assist the Product Owner with backlog hygiene, including definition of ready/done adherence, acceptance criteria clarity, and story/task breakdown.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by capturing action items from retrospectives and helping the team operationalize improvements to quality, cycle time, and predictability.

Other

  • 1–2 years of experience in an Agile environment supporting Scrum or Kanban teams (can include internships, rotational programs, or project-based experience).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional setting, manage competing priorities, and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Advanced technical education from a recognized program.
