Vector Airport Systems is seeking a Jr. Software Engineer to join their team to provide Level 1 support, contribute to building and enhancing new applications, and collaborate across departments to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
- Strong proficiency in C-Sharp, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, and AngularJS.
- Experience with SQL databases and cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Visual Studio
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 support for Jira board, including issue triage and resolution.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and ensure timely follow-up
- Maintain and develop applications using C-Sharp, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, and AngularJS.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and other business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Availability to occasionally work off-hours for critical support tasks.
- Contribute to building and enhancing new applications that require both front-end and back-end development expertise.
