SCI Technology, a Sanmina Company, needs to deliver innovative, trusted, and comprehensive products and services for the Defense and Aerospace sector, requiring an Embedded Software Test Engineer to ensure the reliability of their high-reliability solutions.
Requirements
- testing in embedded software systems
- System or network administrator experience preferred
- Skilled in writing test procedures in a requirements’ driven process
- Experience with military communication equipment is desired
- Experience in at least a CMMI-DEV Maturity Level 3 organization is preferred
- Cisco network experience including Call Manager preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification
Responsibilities
- writing test procedures

- Analyze and write test approaches and procedures
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
- Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems
- planning, creation, and execution of software test cases
- Perform system integration, verification, and validation activities

- working as part of a multi- disciplined engineering project team
- Work closely with the development teams and contribute in every aspect of software lifecycle
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline required
- U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
- 2 - 5 years’ software testing experience
