The company is looking to hire a Jr. Test Engineer to assist in the design, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of telecommunications network systems, including traditional copper and cutting-edge 5G, to ensure reliable data and voice transmission and contribute to the evolution of their communications infrastructure.
Requirements
- foundational telecom and networking knowledge
- Strong foundation in telecommunications, networking protocols (TCP/IP), and network performance analysis with proven problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis, trend identification, and automation using Python scripting and related tools.
- Assist in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware and WAN circuits (copper, fiber optics, wireless, DIA, Broadband, Starlink, Cellular, POTS).
- Apply network design concepts with a focus on 5G validation, ORAN, and cloud RAN protocols.
- Execute tests in End-to-End 5G labs to ensure reliable data and voice transmission.
- Explore emerging technologies in 5G, IoT, and cloud computing while developing innovative testing methodologies.
