Naval Medical Forces Development Command (NMFDC) needs to develop and deliver e-learning content to support clinical and administrative training initiatives across Navy Medicine. The Adobe Captive Team develops and delivers e-learning content to support clinical and administrative training initiatives across Navy Medicine.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience developing e-learning content using Adobe Captivate (internship or academic experience acceptable).
  • Familiarity with SCORM standards and LMS integration processes.
  • Adobe Captivate certification or equivalent training.
  • Experience with other e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive training modules using Adobe Captivate based on pre-written scripts and storyboards.
  • Ensure SCORM compliance and successful integration with government LMS platforms.
  • Implement branching scenarios, quizzes, simulations, and multimedia elements to enhance learner engagement.
  • Work closely with a senior government Captivate developer and instructional design team to align technical implementation with learning objectives.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to refine training products.
  • Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and sustainment phases.
  • Conduct thorough testing of modules to ensure functionality, compatibility, and responsiveness across platforms.

  • Hybrid remote work position with preference to reside within commuting distance of San Antonio, TX to support in-person meetings.
  • Position may require occasional travel in support of customer requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured development workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Possess, or able to obtain and maintain, a SECRET security clearance.
