Requirements
- Basic understanding of Power BI, SQL, and data visualization concepts.
- Familiarity with DAX or Power Query (M) is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud data platforms and data modeling concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kimball-style dimensional data warehouse design principles (e.g., star schema) is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining basic semantic and dimensional data models with oversight from Senior BI engineers.
- Develop simple data products based on predefined requirements and design guidance.
- Support data cleansing and transformation processes using SQL, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), Power Query (M), and Python.
- Assist in documenting BI processes, models, and dashboards to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Help maintain version control and quality standards for reports and models.
- Work closely with senior BI team members to understand business requirements and translate them into initial report prototypes.
- Respond to stakeholder data questions and assist in troubleshooting report issues.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field and 1-2 years experience in BI, data analytics, or reporting role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and complete errands based on business needs.
- Participate in training sessions, code reviews, and technical mentorship to build proficiency in BI tools and data modeling concepts.
