To support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in modernizing air traffic control tower equipment, streamlining departures, and optimizing the experience for the flying public, Air Traffic Control (ATC), and the airline industry
Requirements
- Software programming in languages such as Python, SQL, PowerBI, and Tableau
- Experience with software requirements analysis, design, design reviews, development, software testing, integration, installation, and maintenance of complex computer systems
- Knowledge of data pipelines, data visualization tools, and data governance policies
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to identify analysis needs and define data requirements
- Experience with data logging and telemetry, and ability to ensure data handling complies with FAA data governance policies, privacy requirements, and cybersecurity standards
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for TFDM
- Gather, normalize, and integrate data from multiple sources including TFDM, ERAM, STARS, SWIM, TBFM, and surface surveillance systems
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting
- Analyze aircraft surface movement data, runway utilization, pushback times, taxi-out delays, and metering effectiveness to evaluate TFDM system impact
- Design and maintain dashboards and visual reporting tools to present key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify trends, anomalies, and outliers in operational data; perform root cause analysis to uncover system issues or inefficiencies

- Must be a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA)
- Must have resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years
- Must be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Egg Harbor Township, NJ
- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor’s degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science
