Arcadis is seeking to improve quality of life by delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets, and the Junior Data Analyst role will assist and support the data and analytics team to ensure that business needs are being met.
Requirements
- Familiarity with enterprise database tools such as SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), SSIS (Integration Services), and SSRS (Reporting Services)
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI (or Tableau), and Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including document editing and version control
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience with Power BI
Responsibilities
- Managing and merging multiple Excel data files without error or data corruption
- Performing detailed data analysis using SQL
- Writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Creating and maintaining ETL workflows using tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Designing reports and visualizations using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
- Analyzing and manipulating data in Excel, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders
- Automating recurring reports using Python, R, or Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps)
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and levels of the organization
- Ability to present data outputs and trends to stakeholders and senior leadership, as needed
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with the Project Controls and Scheduling teams
