Noblis is seeking to hire a Junior Data Analyst to analyze and interpret data to provide insights and support decision-making within organizations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of: data science toolkits, data analytics, and statistical analysis as well as data discovery, use, and exploitation within multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience with standard data science languages such as Python, SQL, and R.
  • Experience understanding data integration and data management fundamentals and how to successfully adopt those for data science projects from development into production.
  • Experience with understanding customer needs and visualizing data in the most effective way possible for a given project or study.
  • Experience related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Experience with technical writing, ability to communicate complex data in simple, actionable ways.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and interpreting data to provide insights and support decision-making within organizations.
  • Utilize expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and visualization techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in data and extract actionable insights.
  • Collecting and cleaning data from various sources.
  • Conducting descriptive and exploratory data analysis to understand data distributions and relationships.
  • Applying statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze data and generate insights.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Designing and implementing data collection strategies.

Other

  • Work on assignments of small to moderate scope that may scale to other tasks and/or teams.
  • Apply a variety of professional methods, techniques, and concepts; adapt methods, processes, or tools to meet needs efficiently.
  • Analyze and interpret a wide range of issues autonomously, exercise sound judgment and discretion within guidelines.
  • Receive weekly supervision; get general instructions for routine work, more detailed for new/non-routine tasks.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI and Polygraph.
